What the D-300 is built for.
The D-300 is a 3U industrial rackmount chassis in the D Storm platform, designed for systems that need expansion capacity rather than raw drive density. Seven slots accept full-length add-on cards — frame grabbers, motion controllers, GPUs, and network cards — while four 5.25" bays accept optional BPU hot-swap cages for RAID storage. It supports both 1U and 2U power supplies, with PSU lengths up to 250mm when front cages are installed. The patented lockable aluminum bezel, washable air filter, and front USB 3.0 keep it serviceable in the field, and an optional aluminum body (D-300A) reduces weight while improving thermal performance.
