What the D-400 is built for.
The D-400 is a 4U industrial rackmount chassis in the D Storm platform, offering the largest internal volume of the family. Combined with BPU or T Series cages it supports hot-swap storage of up to five drives, while seven expansion slots accommodate full-length add-on and accelerator cards. A 120mm plus 80mm fan arrangement delivers high airflow for tall CPU coolers and GPU cards, and PS2 or mini-redundant power supplies cover both cost-driven and uptime-critical deployments. The patented lockable aluminum bezel and removable washable filter keep it serviceable in industrial environments, and its generous volume makes it a common base for OEM/ODM appliance programs.
