What the WN228 is built for.
WN228 adds vertical space, not depth: 22U high and 800 mm (31.50") deep — 23.50" × 47.75" × 31.50" (596.9 × 1,212.9 × 800.1 mm). Chassis clearance stays 27.5" and under (internal 26.5" max), the same depth class as WN158. Use it when you need more rack units for mixed server, switch, and PDU layouts, but the room still cannot take a 1000 mm cabinet. Series doors, locks, casters, and 120 mm top fans are unchanged. Sliding-rail option: WN228-EX.
